2022 Project Theo

Nov 2022

Here are Stoney Point Camp we have just celebrated our 10th Anniversary!! God has been so good to us and all the campers and supporters over the last 10 years. Each year the camp has grown by leaps and bounds, but with that comes some challenges.

We have created a program here at Stoney Point called Project Theodore; this will be our fundraising campaign to assist/offset some of the camp’s expenses. Each week in the month of November, we will be asking for supporters to come along and join the Project Theodore team to raise funding for some things needed here at camp.

Week 1: Tables- The camp tables have become worn out from all the arts, crafts, and other camp activities. Our goal is to raise $1,500.00 this week.

Week 2: Check-in-coop- The campers will have a new registration place right at camp. Work has already begun on this, but there is still a lot to do to complete this for camp next spring. Our goal is to raise $3,500.00 this week.

Week 3: Summer Staff- Each year we have summer counselors come in from other areas to help run camp. Each counselor is asked to help raise their support, and the camp raises the remainder.  Our goal is to raise $5,000.00 this week.

Week 4: Staff House- Camp has a Program director (family) that lives here at the camp year-round. Currently they are living in the Lodge, which is not set up for permanent housing. Opening up the Lodge will allow the camp to use it for other activities and housing guest speakers. The camp will own the house, but the Program Director (family) will reside there. We are looking to either purchase something already built or build something here at camp. Our goal is to raise $10,000.00 this week.

Now that we have reviewed each of the different ways you can give to Stoney Point Camp Project Theodore, let’s talk about how you can get the funding to us. Option 1: Please visit our form at,  look for the information about this program, and follow the steps. You may give with your card or mailing a check. Option 2: Stop by for a visit and hand deliver your gift. Either way works!

Each week we will host a live Facebook event and send out an email blast to you regarding that week’s giving opportunity. Watch for more information each week!

Thank you for taking the time to read this information; we ask that you continue to pray for God’s blessing on the camp, campers, and staff
